Our Story
Brothers Mark and Edward Roberts purchased Buttercup Cottage in 2024. We are so proud and happy to offer our home for you to enjoy like we do. This website has been created to share our memories and yours. View our blog here
The Views
Buttercup is located in a very quiet no through road in the heart of Castleton. The views, history, and location cannot be bettered in our opinion and represents everything the Peak District has to offer. The Area
Just a stones through from Buttercup Cottage is the Devil's Arse, the UK's largest open mine. A fascinating place to visit, don't miss the concerts particularly at the weekend; Jeremy and the team know how to put a show on!
Dog friendly cottage Castleton
Buttercup Cottage Castleton is pet friendly to the point where we actively encourage you to bring your dog! There are incredible walks from the front door, an enclosed garden, outside tap, and the parish green opposite. We have pet vacuums, treats and more. Read more in our blog.
